Biography: DENISE L. SKINNER
ONEIDA- Denise L. Skinner, 62, South Willow Street, passed away at home on December 2, 2019.
Born in Oneida on November 26, 1957, she was the daughter of Francis C. and Leroyce Cooley Skinner. A lifelong resident of the area, Denise was a graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central School.
Denise was currently employed by the Turning Stone Resort and Casino as a warehouse attendant. She was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1977-1979, when she was honorably discharged. Denise was a member of the Oneida Seventh Day Adventist Church, where her church family was very important to her.
Surviving are: her twin sister, Diana Klein of AZ; two brothers and 1 sister-in-law, Robert and Kathy Skinner of TN and Chalton Skinner of Morrisville; one uncle, Eddie Skinner of Oriskany Falls; one aunt, Eleanor Williamson of Vernon Center; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her cat Buckley.
Spring interment will be made in Skinner Cemetery at a date and time to be announced. In keeping with Denise’s wishes, there are no prior services.
