Biography: JEAN MARIE WINCHELL
ADAMS CENTER- Jean Marie Winchell, 28, of Michael Road, passed away on Friday, September, 16, 2022, from injuries sustained as a result of a bicycle-motor vehicle accident in the Town of Adams.
Born in Oneida on October 26, 1993, she was the daughter of Thomas M. and Theresa M. Weimer Winchell Sr. A resident of Adams Center since June of 2022, moving from Canastota, Jean was a graduate of Canastota High School and earned her certification in early childcare from Madison-Oneida BOCES.
She was currently employed by TOPS Markets in Adams as a sales clerk. Jean had previously been employed by TOPS Markets in Chittenango and Canastota and McDonald’s in Oneida. She was involved with the Canastota Central School FFA and the chorus. Jean enjoyed time spent with family and always had a smile on her face. She was known as a caring person who had a great love for the arts, music and children.
Surviving are her parents, Thomas and Theresa Winchell Sr. of Oneida; her brother, Thomas M. Winchell, Jr. of Oneida; several aunts and uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 at 11AM in Whitelaw Cemetery, with Terry Lee Thornton, officiating. There will be no prior hours of visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida.
