THOMAS A. HARRIS
OSWEGO- Thomas A. Harris, 63, of County Route 29, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at his residence.
 Born in Oneida on July 3, 1949, he was the son of Arnold and Gertrude Harris King. Tom was a resident of the area until 1999 living in Sylvan Beach, then moving to Oswego and was educated in the Chittenango Schools. He married Alice Collins on May 1, 1969 in Chittenango.
   Prior to his retirement Tom was employed with McLane Northeast where he was employed since 1990. He was of the Methodist faith.
   Surviving besides his wife, Alice, are; one son and daughter-in-law, Erik R. and Kate Harris of Oswego; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lorrie and Michael Shantal and Dawn and Timothy Morris all of Canastota and Amy and Brian Badgley of Oneida; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Sheila Johnson and Larry Cain of Central Square, Deborah and Frank Sandrez of Oneida and Lauren Powell of Rome; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Roger King of Oneida, Dale King of Plattsburg, Brian and Mary King of Oneida and Paul and Brenda King of Marshall, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Thomas W. Harris on June 14, 1999, one great-grandson Aiden Gorczyca and one sister, Darla Torrance.
   Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida, with the Reverend Tony Paredes, officiating. Interment will be made in Stockbridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11AM to 1PM Thursday, prior to the funeral service. uncle tommy you will be missed soo much,such a funny man you were.we had so much fun with you when we were all younger...we all love you and will miss you so much...love your niece michelle
