CANASTOTA-Donna M. Colvin, 63, of Scenic Avenue, died Monday, July 1, 2013 at her residence, following a brief illness.
       Born in Oswego on March 4, 1950, she was the daughter of Carmen and Rose Trionfero Ruggio. Donna was a resident of the area for the past thirty-six years moving from Oswego. She was a graduate of Oswego High School, Pauldine's School of Beauty and Utica School of Commerce. Prior to her retirement, Donna was employed with Central New York Coach, WalMart, and formerly owned and operated LaBella Donna in Oswego. She was of the Catholic faith.
       Surviving are two daughters, Allison Renee Colvin of Socorro, New Mexico and Erin Marie Colvin of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Ian Charles and Courtney Colvin of New York City; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicky and Mike Lombard of Plymouth, Massachusetts, Angie and Phil Mello of New Bedford, Massachusetts and Christine and Mike Cummings of Baldwinsville; two grandchildren, Cooper and Cohen Colvin; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband, William C. Colvin in August of 1998 and her brother, Frank Ruggio in February of 1985.
        Funeral services will be 9 AM Saturday, from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 300 South Peterboro Street, Canastota with the Reverend William Mesmer, officiating. Interment will be made 11 AM Saturday St. Paul's Cemetery in Oswego. Friends may call at the funeral home 3 to 7 PM Friday.
