Biography: PEDRO R. ROQUE, JR.
CANASTOTA – Pedro R. Roque, Jr., 76 formerly of Peterboro Street, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in the Extended Care Facility where he has been a resident for the past two years.
Born in Brady, Texas on October 18, 1939, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pedro R. Roque, Sr. A resident of the area, since 1960, he received his bachelors degree from Syracuse University. Mr. Roque served in the United States Navy from 1959-1963.
Prior to his retirement he was employed with New Venture Gear, Syracuse. He attended St. Agatha’s Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Tania McEathron of North Carolina; five sons, Carlos Y. Roque, Rico Roque and Hondo Roque, all of Canastota, Maique Roque of St. Regis Falls and Marcos Roque of Lakeport; one sister, Mague Szuba of Fayetteville; one brother, Rolondo Roque; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Maria Dell.
