NELLIE B. KOHLER
LAKEPORT-Nellie B. Kohler, 61, Washington Avenue, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at her residence, following a brief illness.
Born in Fulton, on June 15, 1956, she was the daughter of Theodore and Clara Tennant Hotaling. A resident of Lakeport for the past twenty-five years, Nellie was a graduate of Fulton High School and attended nursing school for her licensed practical nursing certification.
She was a private duty nurse in the area, prior to her disability. She loved her crafts and collecting dolls and was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are her companion of several years, Wayne Garner; two daughters, Christina Parks of Stuyvesant and Angela (Eric) Hoffman of Lynn Haven, Florida; two sons, Donald (Sandi)  Parks of Cortland and Timothy Kohler of Troy; two sisters, Deborah Miceli of Fulton and Lee Barker of Oneida; one brother, Steve Tennant of Germany; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., Canastota.

Bill and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Nellie was a treasure. We will always remember her loving on the dogs.

Nellie was a Godsend for our Mom at Stoneleigh Housing prior to her passing. She was a wonderful lady who will be welcomed in Heaven. May all the best memories of her help you get through this difficult time. With our deepest sympathy, The Family of Barb Letson
