 DAVID G. STRATTON
HOUSTON, TEXAS- David G. Stratton, 61, formerly of the Wampsville area, died early Friday, July 13, 2018 in University Hospital, Syracuse, where he had been a medical patient for the past four days.
Born in Oneida, on December 24, 1956, he was the son of George Stratton and Dawn Parameter . A resident of Texas for the past five years, Dave was educated in Oneida schools.
Dave was self-employed, as a contractor, in the Houston area. He was an avid gardener, who loved his Harley and golf, and enjoyed life with his family and friends.
Surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law, Sunshine and Jody Silva of Vernon and Jessica and Merrick Marshall of Munnsville; his companion, Melane Crawford of Houston; his five grandchildren, Skyler, Dakota, Peyton, Malia and Maverick; his two sisters, Paula Thurston and John Sorbello of Oneida and Connie O’ Rourke of Florida; his four brothers, Gary Stratton and Nancy Crane  and George and Paula Stratton, all of Oneida, Guy and Beth Stratton of Houston, and Douglas and Cindy Richmond of Wampsville; his step-sister, Bobbi-Jo Engle of Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Suzie Peterson and Pamela Stratton and two brothers, William Stratton and Robert Stratton.
