William J. Lukacz

VERONA- William J. Lukacz, 61, Germany Road, died January 19, 2019, at the Oneida Healthcare Center, where he had been admitted as a medical patient.
Born in Oneida, on July 7, 1957, he was the son of Walt Lukacz Sr. and Elizabeth Bender Curtiss. A lifelong resident of the area, William attended Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Schools. He worked for Shepard’s Disposal for twenty years and the Town of Verona for thirteen years.  William enjoyed hunting, fishing and tinkering with lawn mowers and old snowmobiles.
Surviving besides his mother Elizabeth, are two sons, Colt Lukacz of Verona and Kenny Lukacz of Oneida; his brother Walt Lukacz Jr. of Oneida; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Following Williams wishes, there will be no services at this time. Spring interment will take place in Verona Cemetery.

Mrs. Lukacz,i am sorry to hear about the loss of your son,Bill.My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I,ve only seen him from time to time over the years, but i will miss him. But i will remember the good times. Him and i cruising aroud in his orange Plymouth Duster in summer. And in winter snowmobiling from your house in verona to your camp at sylvan beach.
